A unique therapeutic dance experience in Melbourne, blending belly dance, Chinese-inspired flow, and movement therapy.

Inspired by the fluidity of the moon and the richness of cross-cultural movement traditions, Lunar Fusion Belly Dance blends the foundations of fusion belly dance with elements of Chinese dance, contemporary flow, and movement therapy. This unique approach invites you to move beyond technique and into a deeper relationship with your body.

Here, we don’t just learn steps—we explore sensation, emotion, and expression. Through guided movement activities, you’ll develop body awareness, confidence, and the ability to express yourself authentically with fusion belly dance style.

What to Expect

Expect hands-on fun, supportive staff, and a mix of structured activities and open play. This is a space where campers can move, make, imagine, and grow.

Sample Schedule

  • Campers ease into the day with light games, creative prompts, and a welcome circle to set the tone.

  • Guided outdoor activities and free play to stretch, move, and soak up some fresh air.

  • Campers will be responsible for brining their own lunch, but we'll provide water and some additional snacks daily.

  • Hands-on time to explore the daily theme—whether it’s art, building, storytelling, or movement.

  • We'll end the day with a closing circle before campers head home for the evening.

Where to Find Us

Shuttle transportation is available to and from camp. Participants can be picked up near the York Street Subway Station on the F subway line. Subway access to the F, G, A, C, 2, 3 and B67.
